A totally random selection of song ideas, in no particular order.
Have a drawer-full of stuff and songs, that I've just started to get through.
The soundscape I have in my head is a fairly sparse urban-desert with a fucked-up tremolo guitar/slide to the right, acoustic gt at the front, piano and a few soundscapes to the left.
Not miles away from what we've done before, but a more expansive landscape, with plenty of empty spaces. Twin Peaks, Calexico etc
My home set-up is pretty basic, so not aiming for quality here, but just to give you an idea of where I'm heading.
My demos always lack cool guitar-parts, as it's not something I can easily bluff, so a little imagination required.
If you can, listen on headphones, late at night, glass at hand.
